Established in 1976, Scherer Brothers Truss Division was born from a severe backlog of truss deliveries. Space limitations at the original plant required us to move to our current facility in Albertville, Minnesota in 1980. Since then, increased demand for our manufactured products has required expansion at this site to accommodate the installation of additional automated manufacturing equipment.

Scherer Brothers Truss Division specializes in engineering and manufacturing floor and roof trusses for both commercial and residential applications. Our progressive business model has resulted in the development of many new truss products including a webbed bottom-chord attic truss known as the SuperAttic Truss, as well as a hinged-plate standard truss which eliminates the need for piggyback trusses.

All of the Scherer Brothers yards have truss salespeople that will work directly with you to answer technical questions, review plans, and offer advice on your truss projects, eliminating the need for you to contact a second supplier, and lose time waiting for answers. We also offer many products and services which will save you labor on the jobsite, making you more efficient, competitive, and profitable.
