Louvers from Millwork Solutions may be ordered as functional (vented) or purely decorative. Our functional louvers allow for the passage of air through the cornice of the home. Functional louvers are constructed with a screen backing to keep animals and bugs out while allowing air to pass through.
Decorative louvers have no screen backing and are intended to be mounted against a solid surface to add architectural interest to a home, helping define and express external character.
Popular or common louver styles include rectangular, half round, full round, triangular, or any other decorative design you can imagine. The surrounding casing width varies according to desired style and we can build louvers with angled tops to match your roof pitch. All louvers are constructed of Western Red Cedar. Turn around time on louvers is typically take 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the order and the customization to the design.
